Add an extra layer of security against fraud to your debit card with smsGuardian, a free service for all Mainstreet Community Bank of Florida customers. Receive and respond to text message alerts on your mobile device when your debit card is used for:
- Out of State Authorizations
- International Authorizations
- Fuel Authorizations
- Authorizations greater than $100
- 10 or More Authorizations in 24-hours
- Card Not Present Authorizations
When you receive an alert, if you recognize the charge, no action is required. Simply ignore the alert. If the charge is fraudulent, you can reply to the alert (as directed within the message) and a risk analyst will then review the purchase and block the card from further use.
Identifying and stopping fraudulent activity when it takes place can significantly reduce the likelihood that additional unauthorized transactions will occur.

To enroll in this program, visit the CardGuardian portal today. In a few simple steps, you will verify your card information, set your “do not disturb” window and enter your mobile phone number (must be a 10-digit domestic number). Once enrollment is complete, you are ready to begin receiving alerts!
